Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

  • DW Administrative Solutions provides contract-based administrative and operations support to four types of clients: resident-led community boards (HOAs, co-ops, condos), small businesses and startups, executives and professionals, and organizations planning events or programs.

Services are provided virtually by Daena Wallace, a certified Project Management professional based in Eugene, Oregon.

  • DW Admin is a good fit if you're a —

    • volunteer board member overwhelmed by governance tasks

    • a small business owner whose backend operations are disorganized

    • a busy professional who needs reliable support without a full-time hire

    • an organization/executive that needs someone to manage the logistics of an upcoming event or program.

  • Neither. DW Admin Solutions is an administrative consulting practice.

Daena works as a contracted partner, not an employee or temp placement.

DW brings her own systems, tools, and expertise to each engagement rather than simply following task lists.

From there, Daena will assess your needs, develop a scope of work, and send a service agreement before any work begins.

Services & Pricing

  • Services fall into four areas:

    • Owner-Led Communities — board communications, meeting administration, governance systems, and compliance documentation

    • Small Businesses & Startups — operations and workflow setup, business launch support, client intake systems, digital organization, and social media management

    • Executives & Professionals — scheduling, calendar management, inbox support, document management, and virtual meeting support

    • Events & Program Management — event planning, vendor coordination, virtual workshop production, program logistics, and post-event documentation

  • Services are proposal-based and customized to your needs. Monthly support engagements start from $500/month depending on the service area.

Owner-led community newsletter packages start at $1,250 for a 4-month engagement. One-time and project-based work is available, and hourly consulting is offered at $50/hr for advisory sessions.

All pricing is confirmed in a written service agreement before work begins.

  • Both. Some services are structured as one-time project engagements (such as a business launch setup or governance systems buildout). Others are offered as ongoing monthly support. Your service agreement will define the scope and duration.

  • Yes. Services are offered à la carte. You can combine support areas for example, operations workflow setup plus social media management — into a single monthly package tailored to your priorities.

  • Monthly support engagements require a 30-day minimum commitment. Some project-based services, such as the Governance Systems Setup, require a 3-month minimum to allow for proper implementation and knowledge transfer.

Working with DW Admin

    1. You book a free consultation

    2. DW assesses your needs and develops a clear scope of work

    3. A written service agreement is signed before work begins

    4. Systems and support are implemented

    5. The engagement adjusts as your needs evolve

  • Yes. A signed service agreement is required before any work begins. This protects both parties and ensures clear expectations around scope, deliverables, timelines, and communication.

  • Payments made through the site do not automatically initiate services. All work begins only after a signed service agreement is in place.

Payment methods can vary by client and are confirmed before the service agreement is signed.

If you submit a payment without a prior contract, it will be treated as a service request and held until an agreement is executed.

  • Communication preferences are defined in each service agreement. Daena works virtually and typically communicates via email, scheduled calls, and shared digital workspaces depending on the engagement.

Owner-Led Communities

  • DW Admin supports HOAs, co-ops, condominiums, townhome associations, and cohousing communities — any resident-led board made up of volunteers managing shared governance responsibilities.

  • Yes. DW Admin's services complement — not replace — property management. Property managers typically handle maintenance, vendor contracts, and financials. DW Admin focuses on board communications, meeting administration, governance documentation, and resident-facing systems that often fall through the cracks.

  • No. DW Admin's services are administrative in nature and do not include legal advice, financial management, bookkeeping, property management, or enforcement actions.

Small Businesses & Startups

  •  No. The Small Business Launch & Website Setup service ($1,800) is specifically designed for early-stage entrepreneurs and side hustlers who need help turning an idea into a structured business with a professional online presence.

  • Yes. Social media content management and scheduling support is available as part of the small business services. This includes helping clients build a consistent presence that aligns with their brand and goals.

  • The Operations Workflow Setup & Digital Organization service is designed for exactly this stage — businesses that have grown beyond informal systems and need structured processes, organized digital environments, and repeatable workflows.

Events & Program Management

  • DW Admin supports in-person and virtual events including workshops, conferences, community meetings, training sessions, webinars, and multi-partner initiatives. Support covers planning, vendor coordination, logistics, and post-event documentation.

  • Yes. Virtual workshop and webinar production is a dedicated service, including Zoom setup, live streaming , run-of-show management, and post-event follow-up.
